I've just added From San Francisco with Love to Amazon. It is available in Kindle and printed format.
It is the second in a new series I've started called - From ... with Love.
Although the title mirrors my From Greece with Love eBook, the story line and characters are different. The series is about a man and a woman meeting and falling in love. Falling in love is not always easy and the series will, over time, reflect that.
About the new book -
Charlene Godfrey has just caught her husband with another woman, in her bed, and in her house. Between her failed marriage and her ever increasing workload as the San Francisco county prosecutor, she decides to get away from her life for awhile, as her lawyer friend tends to her divorce. She needs some time to regroup and get herself together.
Seven hundred miles to the north, Jack McManus is trying get over the loss of his wife from a traffic accident. Their three year marriage had just gotten off the ground, when it was horrifically ended by a drunk driver. Jack's depression continues to plague him and, with the aide of his brother, he's convinced to leave town and try to get his life back on track.
They both leave their respective cities, to get their lives back in order and to spend some quality time in Vancouver B.C., tending to their emotional needs.
They meet by accident and begin a struggle to regain their lives, possibly together.
Enjoy your fall reading.
I began writing fiction when I retired in August 2009. I’d been thinking about it for several months prior but my wife, Linda, suggested that I needed more of a hobby than golf. Golf in Vancouver, Washington, in the winter, is no picnic. I started writing love stories and soon moved to detective stories, then mixed the two. I write from three to four hours every day seven days a week. I even write on vacation.
