Marcia Tenant hadn't intended on changing her life so drastically, but her shortcut to the theater put her into the middle of a gangland killing. From that night forward her life, the thirty some years she'd lived so far, would be wiped out. Not by her demise but the witness protection program she was placed into.
Gino Cantori had threatened her life when he'd been hauled out of the courtroom, after she had testified against the major crime boss of New York. Her possessions were gone, to be donated to some charity no doubt. She was left with nothing but her new name.
Sean Weston, after surviving multiple gunshot wounds retires from the Portland, Oregon prosecutor's office to live in Avila Beach. He has minimal dreams but the one at the top of his list is to find a woman who will become his partner. His life on the police force and then the prosecutor’s office was not conducive to romance.
This is the story of their meeting and ensuing adventures at the hands of those that seek to harm Marcia in her new life.
I'm in the final stages of publishing "Little Girl Lost". A story with the characters from my book From London with Love.
Dan Cantano is a recently married transplant from America, a retired New York detective. His new wife Cassie works for Lions Gate Publishing. Dan starts a detective agency to wile away his time during the day.
His first client is a woman whose daughter has run away. Dan suspects he’s not getting the whole truth, but he’s anxious to start his first case, and takes the case. Olesya had not been heard from for two days. After Dan lifts a print from her bedroom he uses his sources and discovers Olesya definitely not his clients daughter.
The simple runaway turns into an international case for the new detective with people trying to kidnap her and kill her, all at the same time.
I'm currently working on a book tentatively titled Discovery. It's about a woman who witnesses a murder on her way to the theater in New York, and discovers she saw the killing of New York crime boss by another. She's put into the witness protection, and starts a new life in another part of the country. The story centers on her new identity and how she manages her life as a different person. That is until the discovery.

It seems she and her stepfather do not get along. Besides being the Captain of detectives in his precinct in San Francisco and trying to keep his romance with Detective Maggie Desoto under wraps, he now has to manage his job and his daughter.

It is the second in a new series I've started called - From ... with Love.
Although the title mirrors my From Greece with Love eBook, the story line and characters are different. The series is about a man and a woman meeting and falling in love. Falling in love is not always easy and the series will, over time, reflect that.

Enjoy your fall reading.
I began writing fiction when I retired in August 2009. I’d been thinking about it for several months prior but my wife, Linda, suggested that I needed more of a hobby than golf. Golf in Vancouver, Washington, in the winter, is no picnic. I started writing love stories and soon moved to detective stories, then mixed the two. I write from three to four hours every day seven days a week. I even write on vacation.
